The Art Shop & Chapel Winter Wildness Show 2015

Yes it IS definitely all worth it when you see your work hanging on the gallery walls.

Editioning, printing, framing and frantically driving between Cambridge and Wales was totally worth it when I visited the Winter Wildness Show at The Art Shop & Gallery in Abbergavenny last week.

It’s a terrific exhibition, beautifully curated with some stunning pieces of work. I was totally thrilled with the hanging of my crow prints and loved the inclusion of real tree branches for extra atmosphere.

So it’s important for me to remember this happy feeling next week when it all starts again. I’ve a day booked into St Barnabus Press to start etching three new crows, well one’s a raven actually. 1 steel and 2 zinc plates……to acquatint or to deep bite – that is the question!
